Plastic fabrication allows a material to be shaped or moulded into different forms and is therefore used widely within the luggage industry. There are numerous fabrication methods (depending on the plastic being used), here we use vacuum forming to create plastic shells for suitcases. These suitcases can be constructed according to the required sizes, colours and specifications.

Due to the process advantages, some manufacturers prefer plastic fabrication instead of working with materials such as fabric or metal. Plastic’s cost-effectiveness and malleability can make it a durable and versatile material for a multitude of different products within the luggage and travel industry.
